(as a parent/guardian),

My son, Ollie  has been receiving speech therapy sessions from Leigh at Cumbernauld Health Centre. 

Leigh has played such a massive part in turning my son's speech around the past year. She’s been patient, understanding & really took the time to get to know him and what learning techniques work best for him. Leigh has also showed myself support as his mum and helped guide me through the work that is required at home. 

I can’t praise Leigh enough and don’t think we would be where we are now without her, with my son recently discharged from speech therapy due to start school in August.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about you and your son's experience of working with Speech and Language Therapy and in particular with Leigh.

It is so lovely to hear that the the time taken with you and your son has had such a positive impact on his speech allowing him to now be discharged before moving on to school in August.

I will pass on your praise and comments to Leigh directly but also will highlight to our Speech and Language Therapy Professional Lead, Children's Services General Manager and AHP Director in order to acknowledge and recognise the work Leigh has done.
