"Wonderful service that has improved my life unimaginable"

After cardiac arrests (×2) and a stroke, it was suggested I take the cardio rehab course which was 16 sessions at Exe Valley Leisure Centre at Tiverton. From the start with the assessment with Emma, the course has improved my life incredibly. It gave me the confidence to do more and after each session my strength, ability, and confidence has improved beyond my expectations.

The team of Emma, Alison and Chrissie are exceptional - you always feel in good, experienced hands. Their encouragement, enthusiasm, humour and energy make each session easier and more enjoyable. They are an outstanding group of people and I can not encourage other cardiac patients enough to take advantage of this excellent service - which is free!

All the staff at Tiverton are friendly and welcoming - I had never been in a gym atmosphere before and was dreading it! I had nothing to worry about. Everyone in my group was in a similar situation, it is also therapeutic, at the end of the circuit exercise, to talk to other people who have had cardiac 'moments' - nobody judges they just understand. Wonderful service that has improved my life unimaginable. Thank you.
