"Excellent care and advice"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) Fife Community Services / Tissue Viability Service

(as a service user),

I was getting ongoing care from the CTAC nurses at my surgery over the past year and was recently signed off from their care as my leg ulcers were fully healed. As part of this treatment Lesley from the Tissue Viability team was involved from early on in the process as I required a doppler test on my legs.

Lesley was involved throughout most of the treatment alongside the team at the surgery providing advice and treatment for my legs and helping me get used to the compression wraps I now have to wear.

The care I received from them was excellent and I wouldn't now be healed like I am if it wasn't for their treatment. Alongside the ulcers they were treating me for my lymphoedema, which I was diagnosed with last year. Again because of their excellent care and advice my legs are now being managed carefully and are under control. They are unrecognisable from the pictures taken last year. I am much happier with them now and my quality of life has improved due to their help and treatment.

Dear arieshy73

My name is Pam Goodall and I am the Lead Nurse for CTAC.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback for the CTAC nursing team.

That is fantastic that your legs have improved, along with your quality of life over the last year.

Please can you let me know which practice you have been attending so that I can pass on your kind words to the CTAC nurses involved in your care?

Best wishes

Pam
