"Quality of life has improved due to their help"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Treatment and Care (CTAC)

(as a service user),

I was getting ongoing care from the CTAC nurses (Caron and Vikki) at Bellyeoman surgery over the past year and was recently signed off from their care as my leg ulcers were fully healed.  The care I received from them was excellent and I wouldnt now be healed like I am if it wasnt for their treatment.

Alongside the ulcers they were treating me for my lymphoedema which I was diagnosed with last year. Again because of their excellent care and advice my legs are now being managed carefully and are under control. They are unrecognisable from the pictures taken last year.  I am much happier with them now and my quality of life has improved due to their help and treatment.

Hello Arieshy73, my name is Gill McGovern and I am the Team Leader for CTAC services in West Fife.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words about the care you received from Caron and Vikki at Bellyeoman Surgery. We’re absolutely delighted to hear that your leg ulcers have fully healed and that your lymphoedema is now under control.

It’s wonderful to know that their dedication, expertise, and compassionate care made such a positive difference to your health and quality of life. Your feedback means a great deal to the team, and I’ll be sure to pass on your message to Caron and Vikki—they’ll be thrilled to hear how well you’re doing.

Wishing you continued good health and all the very best for the future.
