About: Holywell Hospital / Wellness Hub Antrim/Ballymena

(as a service user),

I’ve been through so many services throughout Northern Ireland and never been able to find one that really clicked with me or really offered the kind of help I needed but at Antrim wellness hub I have had the absolute best experience where I have finally for the first time in 8 years been able to leave the house to attend activities which I actually enjoy and make friends which is massive for me.

The staff have been so so kind and have helped me on my darkest days and even today took me on a trip to a golf driving range because of the interest I expressed in it. This has been incredible for me I can’t thank Philip, Rachel and Padraig enough they have done so much for me and always make sure that I’m doing ok and I’m happy, they really go above and beyond.

We really value this positive feedback as it indicates to me that our group environment and group activities are providing a sense of support and enjoyment, which can be crucial during difficult times.

We use our feedback to develop and enhance the group experience. I am aware that we recently piloted a golf lesson and potentially we might run a full programme of this if we have enough interest in it.

I will ensure that Philip and Rachel are made aware of your kind words. From what you have reported suggests that the group dynamics, activities and our approach are resonating with you. Hopefully the elements of the groups you enjoyed can be incorporated into other groups and help build our service for all going forward.
