I had a cut on my eyebrow that was quite deep. I was seen in the middle of the night by A&E at St Peter’s when they were very busy - 88 in the department at one point. Despite this the staff were friendly and as efficient as they could be.
I saw a Doctor in A&E who was not sure if she could suture it effectively so she referred to maxillo-facial team at Royal Surrey. I am grateful that she worked within her expertise and made the decision to refer me.
The on-call maxillofacial surgeon the next morning was very efficient and effective and I have been left with a barely visible scar from the 6 sutures. It is a tremendous result.
I am very grateful for his expertise and very good care. Thank you. The staff on SDEC were also friendly and the service appeared well run.
