(as the patient),

I have been attending Maryhill Medical Centre regarding my high blood pressure.

I would just like to say how well everything went.

The nurse who did all my checks and changed my medication was brilliant.

Karen was so good to deal with and explained everything very well from the first appointment to the last.

We are very lucky to have people like her in the NHS.

Thank you for your feedback Michael912.

I work with the Quality Improvement & Assurance Team in NHS Grampian and part of my role is to make sure the feedback that comes to us, through Care Opinion, reaches the services it was intended for. Most General Practices in Grampian are independently run and aren’t registered to receive Care Opinion feedback. They have separate complaints and feedback systems and the best way to get feedback to them is to contact the practice directly, but where a general practice name is included in a Care Opinion post I do pass it on where I can. I’ve shared it with the Maryhill Practice Manager and Practice Nurse Karen and they have confirmed it has been received.

We are indeed very lucky to have staff who provide good explanations and a level of care that helps us feel thankful and cared for. I’m sure your kind comments will have brightened Karen’s day.
