"Kind and caring staff"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I attended Cannock hospital recently for a Caudal injection under the care of Mr Saeed and his team. I found all staff to be friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome and reassured me about my procedure.

I found the registrar to be particularly helpful. Once in the theatre, he explained everything that was about to happen and why.

When I was taken back to the ward, the nursing staff were friendly and professional and made me feel that they really cared about how I was feeling.

Due to the procedure I had, it was necessary for me to remain lying on my back for just over 60 minutes. During this time, I listened to how the nursing staff were dealing with other patients within my ward. I thought that the staff were very kind and caring to the patients and their needs.

Thank you to everyone for their wonderful work and kindness.
