"The latest in quite a long list of positive experiences"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Orthoptics

(as the patient),

The leg of my prism specs had fallen off and was irreparable. My local optician  advised me to contact the Orthoptics Department, who had issued me with the specs ( for double vision)  10 months ago. I expected I'd have to travel to see them and then have quite a wait for new specs. How wrong I was! I phoned the department, got through to Paul at their reception, explained the problem. He consulted with his colleagues, checked my file and arranged to have an identical replacement sent out to me. They arrived a mere 2 days later. I was delighted! The whole interaction was so pleasant and helpful.  This is just the latest in quite a long list of positive experiences I've had with the department. It makes such a difference.

Hi greenaids, thank you so much for your feedback. It's so nice to hear that you had such a positive experience with the Orthoptic department, I know all the staff here work hard to provide all our patients with the best care we can.

I have passed your lovely comments on to Paul and the rest of the team-it means a lot to us.
