"Positive experience of Colposcopy Clinic"

I had an appointment for colposcopy following an abnormal smear test result.

I was admitted by Lorraine, who took my details and thoroughly explained what to expect. She was really lovely and put me at ease when I explained my concerns about potential discomfort. I was then looked after by Chloe, who was kind & professional and ensured I was comfortable.

Dr MacNab was really kind, clear in her language and explanation of why I was there, and what would be happening in my examination and treatment. She reassured me at every stage of the examination, and kept me constantly informed as to what was happening during treatment.

I was cared for very professionally, with dignity and respect at all times, and the excellent communication and team work made an unpleasant intimate procedure as manageable as possible. It was nowhere near as bad as was expected.

Thanks to a lovely team today for putting my mind at ease.
