"The Plaster Room team have been brilliant"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Plaster Room

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter has had three casts in the last four months and the plaster room at the Royal Hospital for Children was brilliant. She loved getting to choose the colour of the cast and picking some glitter was a real treat.

All the staff looked after her really well and Amanda was brilliant at keeping my daughter distracted and chatting happily.

Dear Jojo33

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely feedback. We're so pleased to hear that your daughter felt well cared for during her visits to the plaster room. It’s never easy having to go through multiple casts, especially at a young age, so it means a lot to know that the team helped make the experience a little brighter for her.

We’re thrilled she enjoyed choosing her cast colours, and the glitter is always a favourite! Amanda will be especially delighted to hear your kind words. She has a real gift for making children feel at ease, and we’re lucky to have her.

Wishing your daughter all the best as she continues to heal, and hopefully no more casts for a while!

Best Wishes

Mhairi Stirrat
