"Thank you Dr Aljumaily"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

Few weeks ago I was having difficulty breathing, chest pain, sweating, light head and went to Causeway ASE to be assessed. The day before I went to see my GP who told me that it was an anxiety attack, although it felt that it was more to it, didn’t feel confident with his assessment at all.

When I arrived I was seen by triage nurse first and then short time after that by Dr Aljumaily whose professional attention I greatly appreciated and admired and will never be forgotten.

He was thorough, kind, compassionate, took time to listen to me in timely and sensitive manner. I felt cared for and listened to and felt very confident that I was in the best place to receive the best care.

Following blood tests, x-ray and CT scan and  Dr Aljumaily’s excellent expertise he explained to me in a most professional, though kindly and direct way that I was diagnosed with blood clot in my lung and what the plan was, and admitted me to the hospital for a treatment.

I couldn't have asked for a better delivery of service, greatly appreciate your care Dr Aljumaily, a wonderful example of NHS caring for people. A true example of excellence!
