"I was up and out in minutes"

About: Crieff Community Hospital / South Community Treatment & Care (CTAC) team

(as a service user),

Morning appt at Crieff Hospital. Cant remember the nurses name but she was really good!

I’m a hopeless needle-phobe and, to make it worse, I am very difficult to get blood out of.

The nurse talked to me the whole time and kept me diverted in conversation- so much so that I wasn’t aware of the needle going in my arm. She took the blood and I was up and out in minutes.

A very good job!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to feed back on your recent experience with the CTAC team.

We work hard to ensure our patients have a positive experience and we are glad to hear it worked on this occasion. We hope this positive experience may help quell anxiety about any future blood appointments.

Thank you

Lisa Duffus,
Charge Nurse, Community Treatment and Care Service
