"Lack of meaningful support"

About: Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Working age mental health care (community)

(as a service user),

Regrettably, I feel the Mid-Sussex Mental Health Trust is the epitome of hitting bad luck in the Postcode Lottery.

I believe that if you move 10 miles or so in any direction out of the town, with the exception of Haywards Heath, and the level service you shall receive shall be exponentially better.

The GPs seem to have given up, and you are highly unlikely to gain engagement from any of the GPs in the town.

As with many resources in this town, I have found any meaningful support for mental illness sadly lacking.
