"Excellent maternity care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care

(as a service user),

I am writing to say thank you to the obstetrics team at the Queen Elizabeth for looking after my son and I during our delivery in May.

The care we received was very good and I am so grateful to the team there. We ended up having an emergency C section under general anaesthetic and I felt the team were very knowledgeable and supportive. Specifically I would like to acknowledge the midwives Emma in the antenatal ward, who took time to answer my many questions, and Jen, who was kind and reassuring when we were in the labour suite. The medical team (Dr Higgins, Ros and David) were exceptional.

We are very appreciative for all their care and the safe arrival of our baby.

Hi Taurus25

Thanks so much for your lovely message and kind words about the team at Queen Elizabeth. We're really glad to hear that you felt well looked after during what must have been a very intense time.

It means a lot to hear that Emma, Jen, Dr Higgins, Ros, and David made such a positive impact and a huge thank you for taking the time out of your day to share this.

Wishing you and your little one all the best as you settle into this new chapter!

Warm regards,

Callum
