"I will have to wait longer for my condition to be treated"

In 2024 I had my blood tested, the blood sample came back showing signs of PCOS. In October of 2024 they then made me appointment to have a 

Transvaginal ultrasound the results came back and they told me It was showing that I had PCOS I later had a phone call to explain what PCOS is and how to deal with it. For the past 10 months I thought I had PCOS until I had to go to the A&E about my kidney pains and the doctors at the hospital showed me my results and on the NHS documents it told me that my ovaries was measured slightly different from one another and my kidneys was fine and there was no sign of PCOS.

At this point I then told the doctor that I had a phone call telling me that I had PCOS and was clearly told the wrong information. Further this I rang the doctors in may 2025 to tell them that I’ve been told misinformation and demanded another scan from the right information, at this stage I felt very confused, neglected and angry about the situation. The doctor then told me she would make the referral through to the gynaecologist to get the answers I need, I then had an email at the beginning of june to say that the referral has been made and to wait to hear from them. Within this time I had another appointment at my GP practice  due to the same ongoing problem I was tested for a water infection which came back clear and was told by my doctor to wait from the gynaecologist to ring me.

recently  I rang the gynaecologist team as I still haven’t heard back from them I explained the situation to then be told that they sent the referral back in June with advice and treatment to be provided to me. I now feel very much disappointed in the situation because I am not receiving the best support and answers within the practice. This is now going to push back my request and i will have to wait longer for my condition to be treated and for the answers I need.
