"I cannot fault the staff"

Hospitals are triggering for me, after previous bad experiences. I was admitted to day bed for a minor procedure, the staff were exceptional from my arrival giving reassurances and first class care and being aware of my allergies.

Unfortunately my procedure had a few complications and had to be taken back to theatre, resulting in an over night stay. I can not fault the staff and care given as they went above and beyond. The cleanliness in the hospital was off extremely high standard and their quickness in changing bedding when got covered in blood, unlike my previous hospital experience elsewhere, where patients had been left in bloodied sheets and vomit all night (two separate admissions) along with questionable hygiene practices.

I can not fault Queen Margaret and the care provided. Leading to a positive experience, which made me extremely happy with the care given by the ward staff. The food could be improved as it wasn't the most appetising, which is across the board at all NHS Fife and Lothian hospitals I have been a patient in.
