I wanted to share my story. I had Gynaelogical problems for 3 years in total. I waited for a laproscopic hysterectomy operation for 2 of those years and finally had surgery in March 2024 at Perth Royal Infirmary
There were some complications due to internal bleeding, so I required a second surgery at Ninewells Hospital - just one of those things. I was so grateful for the surgery and support.
I said thankyou at the time, but I want to share my story here because 16 months later my life has transformed completely. I have started dancing, I am active, healthy and pain free. I have had changes to my relationships and personal life and I want my consultant and team to know that the work they do really changes lives.
