"Feeling let down"

About: Heavitree Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I am contacting you with regard to my experience at the Dermatology clinic at Heavitree.

From the initial appointment in June, which was fine, I have not had the best of experience since due to admin errors and five incorrect text messages sent resulting in a needless face to face meeting as I was not provided with any new information. All in all I felt very let down by the whole negative experience. I do hope that no one else has the misfortune to have the same experience I’ve had.

I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a negative experience due to the message reminders. These reminders are generated automatically and can often result in duplications, this is something that is currently being worked on.

It is nice to hear that your experience within the Department was good and again I can only apologise for the confusion caused by the multiple text messages. Please do not hesitate to contact the department if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, our staff are always available to assist and would be happy to help and clear up any confusion.
