"Daisy hill Maternity"

About: Maternity care / Delivery suite / MLU Maternity care / Maternity Ward

(as the patient),

My baby and myself ended up staying on the ward for almost a week and we cannot thank the staff enough for the care they provided to us both.

Labour was not straight forward but from start to finish we were exceptionally looked after by

Shiavion, Ciara, Aishling and team along with the operative team.

On the ward every day and night the midwives and helpers looked after us so well even when they were under pressure. As a new mother it was very tough and emotional as my baby was sick but the reassurance and assistance I received from everyone, especially Meavus, Donna, Niamh, Clare C, Breidge, Sinead and Demortie as well as the support staff Clare, Oonagh and Aine on the desk I will forever be greatful for. They always knew the right thing to say and provided the helping hand when required.

Also many thanks to the doctors from Peds who helped our recovery.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience with us here in Daisy Hill. We are delighted that although your labour was not straightforward you felt that you and your baby were exceptionally looked after. In Maternity this is the type of care we strive to provide for all those in our care. I will make sure that all those staff you have named in your post are aware of the positive impact they had on your journey with us.

I hope you and your baby are doing well and I wish you all the best for the future.
