"Poor attitude"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Clinical assessment unit

(as a relative),

On a recent visit to CAU at FVRH, I took my elderly dad in after a GP referral. The care he received was good and he is now home. However I felt that the attitude of the nurse in the chaired area who I found to be very abrupt and rude. When asking simple questions about updates on when my dad might be seen etc, I found them unhelpful. This is a shame because the care my dad received was overshadowed by this poor attitude. I will say that HCSW Scott was very cheery and helpful.

Dear Nachosmile

Thank you for taking the time to post your recent experience of our clinical assessment unit. I’m sorry to read that the great care your dad received was overshadowed by a nurse’s poor attitude. This is not the standard of behaviour I expect for our families or patients.

please contact me at your earliest convenience on 01324567472 so we can discuss further

best wishes

Pam
