"I don't know how much longer I can cope with this"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Gynaecology University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as the patient),

It took 3 surgeries and 10 years to finally be diagnosed with endometriosis after my 3rd surgery in 2022 and endometioma removal I was on a great pain management plan I then had ivf a few months later and fell pregnant with my little girl who is now 2 and a half. 3 weeks after she was born I asked to be referred back to gynaecology at Wishaw General because I knew the endo was back with complications during my pregnancy. I seen my surgeon nearly a year later at monklands hospital where he confirmed I need surgery again put me on a new pill to help in the mean time but that was horrid. I had a phone call appointment at Christmas 2024 where he said I'd have my surgery by June 2025 and I haven't heard nothing back. I have been calling and leaving messages multiple times a week for 3 months now with no response my surgeon secretary picked up the one time about 6 weeks ago and said she would email my surgeon for an update and call me back and this hasn't happened. My gp practice manager has also left multiple voice messages to contact her or myself with an update and no response as well.

I understand its busy, waiting 2.5 years is unbelievable with no updates or even another check up? My symptoms and pain is so unbearable now that it's affecting my everyday life. I'm struggling to walk and pick up my child with the pain in my hips and legs. I'm having tremors in my legs with the pain, I'm vomiting most days with pain. It's that bad I can't press on my stomach, my daughter can't lie her head on my stomach now it causes that much pain and frightens her.

I'm exhausted and so fed up of being in so much pain everyday I move the wrong way I'm brought to my knees in agony because my right ovary is fussed and stuck that it pulls and causes sudden breath taking pains. My menstrual cycle is all over the place and is that heavy I can't leave the house or work for having to change every half hour to and hour and passing clots 4 to 5 inches in size I feel like I'm having contractions and left tender and bruised inside for days after. The bloating and swelling in my stomach is now affecting my bladder when using the toilet aswell.

My gp is also refusing pain relief and I have no pain management plan anymore and having to beg for help everytime I have a flare up and can't cope with it anymore just having a period is going to end up with going to a&e for help with the pain I am now in because I have been waiting for so long without this surgery that I desperately need I have new symptoms with my endo being left untreated it's now affecting my work life and my life with my daughter not being able to take her out or do normal day to day things with her because I'm scared the something might happen when I'm out with her and because I'm so mentally and physically exhausted.

It shouldn't be this difficult to get a hold of my surgeon or someone in his department for an update? I need someone to help me and see me for a check up and a pain management plan if i have to wait any longer or even better to have my surgery I've been waiting on?

Please can someone just give me a call or email and help me please? i don't know how much longer I can cope with this
