"Extremely helpful, courteous and professional"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

This is about my experience of a hip replacement carried out at The Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy in fife.

From the first consultation to the final sign off, the doctors and nurses were extremely helpful, courteous and professional in all aspects of my treatment.

My surgeon, Mr Rehman, explained everything in detail to me ensuring the I understood all the pros and cons of the procedure to be carried out.  I had no worries about the procedure proposed and my time in hospital was very comfortable.

Nothing was too much to ask of the nursing staff and the whole process was carried out efficiently from the operation itself to the nursing care and the physio instructions just prior to discharge
