"My visit"

About: Sexual Health Services - South Staffordshire (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

After trying to see my doctor about some pain and blistering around my penis I received a text telling me it was probably Herpes and to contact yourselves. I felt really worried and quite humiliated but my visit to your clinic has really helped me find perspective and helped me understand what may have happened

The doctor made me feel very comfortable and quickly normalised the situation - there was no judgement and the explanation was very clear

I was tested and given antibiotics and cream to treat the affected areas

Hi Elephantyd85,

My name is Andrew and I am a Senior Administrator for the Open Clinic and part of my role is to respond to Care Opinion feedback. I would firstly like to thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback which does mean a lot to our team and is an important contribution to learning and service improvement.

I am pleased that the Doctor made you feel comfortable and non judgemental during your appointment and hope your treatment has worked. 😊

Kind regards,
