Just a note to express sincere thanks and gratitude to the ambulance crew that came out to my elderly family member in June.
My mother, who was in her 90s, had become quite unwell over a short period of time and having never had to phone 999 before, I was greatly reassured and very impressed at the service that was provided.
The ambulance crew that day was Michael and Glenn, and they are based in Omagh. They quite quickly and efficiently built a rapport and assessed my mother before beginning treatment of fluids for sepsis and took her to the emergency department.
Sadly she passed away four days later, but we as a family will be forever grateful for those two paramedics who at an important junction in our family life showed such compassion, empathy and skill - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
