"My hip replacement"

When I was placed on the hip replacement list I was led to expect a year's wait. Having nearly signed up to private surgery, I was saved by a call offering me a place at the Nightingale within 2 weeks. An offer I couldn't refuse.

The whole process was so smooth, from initial consultation through to the surgery which was painless and quick, home the same day.

I had enough follow up to keep me on track with my recovery, and 5 weeks later I feel I'm on the brink of (carefully) re-entering to normal world!
