"Great quality of care after an accident at work"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Unfortunate accident at work with a circular saw. Cutting the flooring my colleague moved the wood and the saw went through my hand.

Pain, shock, stress as I noticed my severed finger & trying to manage the situation was all going through my head.

The hospital staff showed empathy, professionalism and good humour. Staff's attention and the quality of care was great.
