"Family Nurse Partnership was exactly what I needed"

I was a young 18 year old girl, I was offered the partnership by the midwife during my first scan, I was unsure but told it couldn't hurt so I took the offer not fully knowing what to expect.

I have to say it was exactly what I needed I had a hard pregnancy, a terminally ill mother and a lack of support in relationships at the time. The family nurse (collette) came over often and everytime I looked forward to learning and understanding my baby’s needs  from pregnancy to birth and of course a catch-up in general as well.
