"Poor care to patients"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Maternity

(as other),

Was seen in maternity triage had a monitoring test it said on the board that we would be assessed with in 15 minutes of arrival but it took them one hour and twenty minutes to see us because they had forgotten about us. Had the test done and was told that they were getting our scan results but after that there was no communication to us and we where waiting for up to two hours when we asked what was going on why it was taken so long since someone had spoken with us it was not busy in maternity triage when we were in they said that the doctors where busy on the wards this hospital is so under staffed under funded and not adequately equipped to care for patients the nurse we spoke to was rude and sharp spoken it was yet again a poor experience from this hospital and it really needs to be addressed it is really shameful

Dear eridanusmj97,

I am sorry you had such a difficult and poor experience in our triage department.

This is not our intention and we appreciate you taking the time to feedback to us about your time in the maternity unit.

If you could please provide some additional details, I will investigate this further.

You can do this by sharing your information with PALS.

Thank you,

Lisa- maternity matron.
