"Labour induction due to pre eclampsia"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was admitted at Raigmore Hospital for labour induction due to pre-eclampsia on Mid July at 9am. During the first 12 hours of me being admitted by BP was only taken twice: when I was admitted and later at 5pm, beating the whole purpose of me spending a 12 hours at the Hospital. At night was also moved to postnatal care ward due to lack of personale. I was never advised not to take my oral medication (Labetalol prescribed 200mg morning and night the previous day during a check up in ward 9A) I was told once it's been 12-24hs since my Cook balloon was in I would be transferred to Labour ward.

The next day at 9am midwife asks if I have been taking my prescribed medication, advised i have as nobody told me not to. Took my BP (high), at 10.30am took Cook balloon out and said I'd be transferred to Labour Ward. 5 hours later I was still waiting to be transferred.
