"Heartfelt Thanks"

We went through a high-risk twin pregnancy in 2024 and want to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr Chandranath, and to Dr Barclay for the exceptional care and compassion they showed us throughout our appointments in the twin clinic.

We will never forget the kindness Dr Chandranath showed us after a difficult appointment at the Royal. I was back that same day for a check-up with the midwives in Antrim and could see from the waiting room that Dr Chandranath had a busy clinic. But without hesitation, when he saw us, he brought us in and made time to ask how things had gone. He sat with us and spoke with such calmness and kindness.

He gave us the time we needed, and his reassuring words made a world of difference. We knew the situation wasn’t great, but we still held on to hope. Dr Chandranath’s hopeful, positive attitude always made us feel a little lighter, even on the hardest days.

Although the news we received was hard, and we sadly went on to lose our twins, Dr Chandranath somehow helped ease our anxiety during some of the most painful days of our lives. His gentle support and steady presence gave us moments of comfort when we needed them most.

We’ll always be deeply grateful for his care, it meant more than he’ll ever know. Anyone under his care is truly lucky.
