"Really took the time to make me feel looked after"

I had to have regular growth scans during my pregnancy due to being high risk. At some of my scans, I was quite anxious as things weren't going as planned during the pregnancy.

I had Roisin as my sonographer for the majority of my scans. Roisin was amazing throughout my whole pregnancy. She reassured me when she could tell I was worried, she explained everything happening during the scans and she explained everything we could see on the scans in terms of the baby, to keep me calm and reassure me. Roisin was professional, kind, caring, personal and really took the time to make me feel looked after, not just another appointment on a list.

I was recently at the department for an appointment and had my baby with me. I bumped into Roisin by coincidence, and she was excited to see my baby and hear all about how she's been. This also reiterated that Roisin remembered me and I felt like I was looked after as a person, rather than just a number.
