I would like to write and take this opportunity to thank you and all your wonderful staff at the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital during my treatment of a broken ankle. This includes the fracture clinic the x-ray department all the theatre staff especially Claudia Theatre Nurse who stayed with me as she could tell I was very nervous.
All the recovery team who were amazing I can’t remember all their names but they were kind and caring my blood pressure was very low and I was kept in overnight as they were concerned about this. Also not forgetting the nurses and staff on Durbin Ward this includes all the Housekeeping Staff.
The paramedics who attended my fall were well and truly amazing. However last but not least my Surgeon and his staff who put me back together.
People are quick to slate the NHS however my treatment from start from finish has been well and truly amazing I can’t thank every one enough. I am still ongoing Physio.
They are truly “ANGELS WITHOUT WINGS” and a credit to your hospital.
I know your Chief Executive is probably a very busy man, I would like to think that this would be fed back to all the teams as they deserve the credit for amazing care.
"My brilliant care"
