About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Physiotherapy

Just completed my treatment with physiotherapist Roisin of Western Health and Social Care trust who is based in Strabane Health Centre, part of Altnagelvin Area Hospital.

Very professional and competent physiotherapist who displayed understanding, kindness and an enthusiasm to help treat my tailbone and back pain. I am 70 years of age and have trouble sitting with the pain, however, after treatment from this lady my condition has improved. Very pleasant and helpful physiotherapist and is a role model for our NHS. I am very grateful to her for all her help and support.

Roisin is one of our longest standing Senior Physiotherapists within the MSK services, and is a valued member of our staff. She is indeed a great role model for not only her more junior colleagues, physiotherapy students, but as you say - a model for other NHS staff, and what we stand for.

I am delighted to read that you have gained benefit from attending for physiotherapy treatment and thus some relief from your symptoms. I wish you well in your continued recovery.
