"Amazing health visitor experience"

I was very lucky to have Edel as our Health Visitor. She is always so lovely and genuinely cares. I always felt comfortable to speak openly with Edel and to ask any questions i had no matter how silly, I never felt judged and was always given a helpful answer no matter how silly my question.

Edel gave me confidence as a mother that what I am doing is right but also gave me confidence to reach out for help if I need it. I really enjoyed our appointments to find out how my son is doing and always received really valuable information from Edel.

I was in awful pain with breastfeeding so I reached out to Edel for advice, I didn’t have the typical symptoms of thrush but from our phone conversation Edel was able to tell me what it was and how to get it sorted quickly. I was so close to giving up breastfeeding due to the pain but thanks to Edel I am delighted to say I am still happily breastfeeding thanks to Edels help, advice and encouragement. The Health Visiting Service we received was absolutely fantastic, really a vital service for new mums.
