"I turned up terrified. I left smiling and relaxed."

About: Caithness General Hospital / Radiology

(as the patient),

Attended Caithness Hospital for CT contrast scan.

I’ve never had this procedure before.

I’m the cold sweats, light headed, feel sick person as soon as a needle is anywhere near me. The staff were amazing. So very patient with me, kind and reassuring. I always feel daft in how I am with needles but they made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedure.

I turned up terrified. I left smiling and relaxed. Thank you.

Many thanks for taking the time to post this response. I am so glad that the team were able to make your experience a positive one.

I will certainly make sure that this is passed onto the team.
