"They were very thorough in his treatment"

We arrived at A&E and were very quickly processed through to the paediatric department.  We were seen as soon as we walked in by a very friendly welcoming nurse who explained everything clearly to us both and directed most of the questions to my son which he really appreciated as he is 14 years old.  The care was exemplary.  The staff were very friendly and professional which put my son at ease.   They were very thorough in his treatment making several checks on him during our visit.  The X ray was fast and very efficient.  

The nurse and doctor who treated him asked permission to check his abdomen and chest, explained why they were doing checks in a very clear and respectful way.  My son was very well treated and made to feel extremely well cared for as well as confident that he was well enough to leave.

Additionally, we were taken through anything that may happen once we had left and given leaflets to support their very thorough explanation.  Please pass on a massive thank you from us to the staff.  Yet again we have had fantastic treatment at the Royal Surrey, we feel very lucky to have it as our local hospital.
