"Has restored my faith in the NHS"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was very unwell - I have Addison’s Disease, a potentially life threatening condition and I have had very negative medical experiences in the last few years. I was very anxious about needing to again ask for help, but the kindness and care I received at Grantham has restored my faith in the NHS. Everyone from the receptionist, the nurses and the doctor I met finally helped to reassure me - and I was only  there for two and a half hours, having been triaged, had an ECG and blood tests, and then seeing the doctor who gave me the necessary medication. Thank you everyone
