"Expertise, kindness and high quality care"

I wish to say thank you very much indeed for all the expertise, kindness and high quality care that I have received from the QEUH Orthopaedic Team from the day of my presentation until now.

My GP referred me to the Orthopaedic same day referral unit, where I was seen by an excellent specialist trainee. He assessed me and arranged my surgery for the following day, helpfully keeping me updated with the plan.

On the day of surgery, I met an excellent clinical team. The plan was carefully explained to me. The surgeons conscientiously took great care to perform a thorough surgical procedure, and the recovery staff were very kind in looking after me on return.

The nurses in the Orthopaedic wound clinic have been enthusiastic to help my wound recover from the outset, using skill and knowledge to select the best of treatments.

The Orthopaedic consultant for the clinic kindly and professionally acknowledged my worries, and patiently reassured me that healing would take place. And with such good care I am enormously grateful to see that occur.
