"Telephone communication and appointments"

I have tried many times to call my GP practice and have had to wait on the hold line, with that annoying jingly music, for over an hour on several occasions.  The phone system is terrible and I have been cut off more than once by incompetent operators. It's a massively frustrating experience to try to speak to anyone, or get an appointment. My last telephone appointment was cancelled at the last minute by the doctor and no reason was given.

I feel ignored, dismissed and not understood or heard by the GPs at this practice and I feel extremely frustrated by the terrible phone system and lack of response.

On a postive note, the nurses are kind, skilled and understanding.
