"Knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

The joint school was run by Kirsty and Sian, who were knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. This will be my second total hip replacement and there was no education session like this when I had my first in the North East. I found it positive as it was informative even though I've had a previous operation. It was good to meet some of the staff involved in my care before the event and to be with other patients waiting for surgery. It made me feel less alone in this which is helpful. It was also good that my wife was there as I think it has given her a better appreciation of what it is all about.
