I was obviously very pensive about going into Detox, even though I had been assured by many that Dame Carol provided an excellent service. I was very happy to discover that the reassurances from others were 100% correct.
I had an amazing experience and it has been the best detox I have had and the least traumatic and painful.
I was very well cared for by all the very friendly staff, that genuinely cared about my well being and getting me better. It was a top priority for all the staff that I should not feel uncomfortable, in any way, during my detox and they were always there when I needed help.
Basically I arrived feeling very ill and am leaving feeling very well and positive for my future ! Im also leaving about a stone heavier !!!
The rooms were very clean the food was very good and plenty of it.
I would have liked for the doctors to speak to my GP with myself involved and my care because of some medication I wasn't allowed in here.
But overall I had a very positive experience
