"Hip replacement Surgery caused by Cancer of bone marrow"

About: Oncology / Physical Activity Classes

(as a service user),

After almost three months in the Belfast City Hospital recovering from Hip replacement surgery caused by Cancer of bone and marrow, my doctor referred me to Joe, Friends of the Cancer Centre's Physical Activity Coach,  who gave me with others multiple physiotherapy drilling.

I was on two crutches  before getting to the centre, and after gymnastic for three months with the Coach I came out with one crutch.

I want to say thank you for your care and your unrelenting supportive technique that I will continue to improve with at home.

Hi Adewesco

Thank you so much for taking the time to voice your thoughts on the service provided by our physical activity coach. It is great to hear that you enjoyed the exercise sessions with Joe and that you were able to progress from using 2 crutches onto one crutch. Please continue to keep active and I will make sure to let Joe know about your great feedback.

Kind Regards
