"Broke the humerus bone in my left arm"

About: Emergency Medicine / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I recently fell from a standing position on to my kitchen floor going full length and landed flat on my face.   I knew immediately that my arm was broken somewhere.  Also banged my head & face leading to some cuts & bruises. Luckily my phone was in my hand and after composing myself, was able to ring my neighbours who came & got me up from the floor and on to a chair.   They rang my sister & her husband who came and took me to ARI A & E. Staff at A&E were good.
