About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Day Clinical Centre

(as the patient),

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Day Clinic Team at Daisy Hill Hospital

Each Friday, as I made my way to the Day Clinic at Daisy Hill Hospital, I knew I was walking into a place where kindness, care, and professionalism were the order of the day. What could have been a stressful and uncomfortable experience was transformed into something much more positive—and that's entirely thanks to the incredible team, especially Blinnia, Roisin, and Maureen.

From the moment I arrived, Blinnia was there with a warm smile and a welcoming presence. Her politeness and gentle nature set the tone for every visit. She made sure I felt seen and valued—not just another patient coming through the door, but a person she genuinely cared for.

Roisin and Maureen were simply outstanding. Their professionalism was always clear, but what truly made the difference was the compassion and ease they brought to every interaction. Venesection is never something I look forward to—I’m not the best when it comes to getting blood taken—but with Roisin and Maureen, I always felt relaxed. They talked me through everything, listened, reassured, and most importantly, treated me with empathy and respect. Their calming approach made a world of difference.

Our chats each week brought a bit of brightness to my Fridays. It was more than just a medical appointment; it became a routine I was actually glad to keep. The conversations, the laughter, the feeling of being genuinely cared for—it all made each visit something to appreciate.

To Roisin, Maureen, Blinnia, and the entire Day Clinic team: I truly couldn’t thank you enough. You looked after me so well, every single time. I always felt I was in the best of hands, and that sense of safety and kindness is something I’ll never forget. You went above and beyond for me, and it never went unnoticed.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my experience not only bearable, but truly excellent.
