"The whole team are a credit"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a relative),

My Father was admitted to ward 3E following a stroke. He stayed just over two weeks. I have never experienced such care, compassion and empathy, not just towards my Father but to his family too. What a wonderful team. Special mention to

Alisha, Sara, Lilian, Julie, Amy, Brian, Lara, Alyson, Pamela, Jazz, Kevin, Leanne, Corrie and Angela.

They’re all wonderful. Dad experienced person centred care with dignity and respect at all times.

Alisha put my mind at rest at admission whilst we were waiting to see if he could be Thrombolysed. It was a frightening time for my Dad and for us. She continued to keep my Dad’s spirits up as he settled into 3E. Everywhere he went the staff team couldn’t do enough.

The whole team are a credit to the Ward Sister, who was also approachable and caring.

Will never be able to thank you enough.

Good Afternoon TWDaughter

Thank you for your lovely feed back about the staff of 3E UHC. They are indeed a very special group of staff and I will be happy to share your feedback with them. It must have been a very difficult time for you and your famly but to hear the staff supported you is indeed a credit to the SCN. I hope your dad continues to make good progress and thank you once again for taking the team to share your experience.
