"They all had a special role to play in the safe delivery"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

(as the patient),

This is continuation of my previous posting as I still had some positive feedback to tell.

So, end of June I was taken for a cat 1 c section due to my little girls heart rate dropping, I instantly felt scared and worried over having to have a section but everyone was so reassuring and helped to keep my calm.

My consultant Dr Barani performed my section along with another consultant who unfortunately I can’t remember the name off but both of them were super calm throughout the procedure and even came to check on me on the ward after.

I would like to thank Mr Barani for ensuring I was okay throughout the procedure and for checking in on how I was recovering after.

Also a special thanks to each and every single person who was in the theatre at the time of my section as I know they all had a special role to play in the safe delivery of my baby and the care of myself.

Thank you for your kind words and congratulations on the delivery of your baby girl. It means a lot to hear that you have had exemplary care and reassurance, especially throughout such an important and often stressful life event - thank you for trusting our staff to help you.

All the best,
