"Early discharge"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit (MAU)

(as a relative),

84 year old woman, within 8 hours can go from 2 people to take her to the toilet, to been sent home. She was admitted because her blood pressure was dropping when she stood up and could not walk because of dizziness, weakness in her legs. The homefirst response service said she was back to her baseline, how do they know what her baseline was before she was admitted.

Was told on numerous times she was in the discharge lounge when she wasn't, asked on one occasion to come pick her up from the ward and was told point blank no. Asked about her discharge was told can't discuss on the phone.

I got her in the afternoon and still very weak standing and took 2 of us to get her to the wheelchair to take her to the car. Once I got home I couldn't get her out the car and had to get help from a relative to get her in the house. Got my mum settled sitting on the couch,  then got her to bed about 8. Went the following morning to be told that she had taken another dizzy spell and legs were still weak so had a fall trying to get to do the toilet.

Can you please tell me how was she fit for discharge, within 8 hours.
