"I found the facilitators helpful, friendly and very caring"

About: Community Services / North Lincolnshire Recovery Focussed team

(as a parent/guardian),

I was asked to take part jn a research trial because my daughter has emotional disregulation.

The course was over 12 weeks.

I found the facilitators helpful, friendly, understanding, patient and very caring.

The information I was given in the course, and the suggestions of how to look after myself, whilst dealing with a difficult situation with my loved one, were so very helpful.

All in all, I can just say that I believe this course should be offered to all carers. I found it invaluable and I am so grateful that I could take part.

A big thank you to the facilitators. You made it an enjoyable experience even though it is such a sensitive subject matter.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience of the CARERS trial. I'm pleased to hear you found the facilitators engaging the the content helpful. I will share your comments with Anna and Claire, who I am sure will be really pleased to hear you had a positive experience on the course.

We are hoping to be able to offer Family Connections in RDaSH after the research trial ends.

Best wishes,

Chris Sanderson
