(as the patient),

From start to finish the team /women were amazing. Made me feel so at ease and relaxed, even though I was very anxious. I felt my experience was extremely painful. I felt maybe could be offered an alternative way of dealing with the pain but I know it's a one stop op. Saying that, I dealt with it and the team were amazing. Very professional all the way. Thank you all for your kindness.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided during your recent attendance at the Day Surgery Unit within University Hospital Ayr.

I am sorry to hear that you required an admission to our Day Surgery Unit and that your experience was very painful. This something that our Team in the Department can look at to see if they can improve this for future patients. It is good to know, that despite this, you felt that the staff were amazing and that they were able to help you feel relaxed despite your anxiety.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Unit. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported by them.
